Isotype Control ADCs
Essential Controls for Rigorous Experimental Design
Isotype control ADCs are fundamental to distinguishing true target-mediated effects from non-specific antibody interactions, Fc receptor binding, or payload-related background toxicity. We offer isotype controls on both wild-type and Fc-silent (LALAPG) human IgG1 backbones. On the Fc-silent backbone, the LALAPG mutations eliminate binding to activating Fcγ receptors and C1q, so the antibody does not support ADCC, ADCP, or CDC — providing a cleaner baseline for interpreting payload-driven cytotoxicity, especially in assays involving immune effector cells or complement.
