Every analysis is performed by experienced analytical scientists and delivered in a clear, report-ready format. We can run characterization on conjugates produced by iQ Biosciences or on material you provide.

Analysis Method What It Tells You
Drug-Antibody Ratio (DAR) HIC, RP-HPLC, LC-MS (intact mass) Average DAR, DAR distribution, conjugation efficiency
Purity / Aggregation SEC-HPLC Monomer %, aggregate %, fragment content
Unconjugated Antibody / Free Drug RP-HPLC, HIC Residual unconjugated species, process impurities
Intact Mass Analysis Q-TOF LC-MS Molecular weight confirmation, payload attachment
Peptide Mapping Q-TOF LC-MS (bottom-up) Conjugation site identification, sequence coverage
Hydrophobicity Profile HIC (Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography) DAR species separation, hydrophobicity impact of payload
Plasma Stability LC-MS bioanalysis (human or mouse plasma) Linker stability, payload release kinetics in plasma
Lysosomal Release Cell-based lysosomal assay Payload release in lysosomal compartment

Instrumentation

Our analytical platform is built around the same instruments used in leading ADC development programs worldwide.

Agilent 1290 Infinity III UHPLC

Ultra-high performance liquid chromatography for RP-HPLC, HIC, and SEC analyses. Delivers high-resolution separation and reproducible results.

Agilent 6530 Q-TOF LC-MS

Quantitative time-of-flight mass spectrometry for intact mass analysis, peptide mapping, and DAR determination by mass. Industry-standard for ADC characterization.

HIC (Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography)

Separates ADC species by DAR value based on hydrophobicity. Essential for visualizing DAR distribution and assessing conjugation homogeneity.

SEC-HPLC (Size Exclusion)

Quantifies monomer content, aggregates, and fragments. A standard release test for any ADC or biologic product.

Endosafe® Endotoxin Testing

Rapid endotoxin quantification using the Endosafe® system (cartridge-based LAL assay). Ensures ADCs and bioconjugates meet endotoxin thresholds for in vitro assays and in vivo studies.

Need Your ADC Characterized?

We can analyze conjugates you’ve already made, or run full characterization as part of a Phase 1 + 2 package.
