- ELISAs are a quick and cost-effective tool to detect and quantify a specific protein from a sample of interest.
- ELISAs can be especially useful for analytes that are difficult to measure (and therefore often excluded from multiplex assay alternatives).
- Our team of immunologists has experience performing all types of ELISAs (direct, sandwich, competitive) for the detection of antibodies, cytokines, host defense proteins, and complement proteins.
- ELISA optimization services are also offered.

About ELISAs
Our immunologists at iQ Biosciences have experience performing all types of ELISAs that may be suitable for your sample type and analyte of interest. In an ELISA, plates are coated with capture antibody or samples of interest, blocked to prevent any nonspecific binding, and treated with detection antibodies that produce a colorimetric change in the presence of a specific substrate which can be detected using a plate reader. We can perform commercially available ELISAs or help to develop ELISAs for your desired analyte.
